NEW from Sterling (Jim) Feeser: Every year Emory University selects 25 freshmen to participate in the 2-year College Credit Bonner Leadership Program sponsored by the Emory University Pierce Leadership Institute. Of the approx. 2,525 Emory College Freshman, Sterling Manuel Jose was selected for the College Credit Bonner Leadership Program!

It's a Small World 69'ers.
In November of 2007, my wife, two buddies and I flew to Tucson for the 25th El Tour de Tucson, an annual bicycling charity event. On the day of the event, while my wife was being entertained by the entire Michigan State ice hockey team at the hotel pool, the buddies, I and about 4500 of our favorite cyclists rode the 110 mile El Tour de Tucson. And here's where the small world theme comes in.
Shortly after Feese (Sterling Feeser) contacted me early in his search for 69’ers, he asked for information on contacting Zimmy (John Zimmerman). Although John and I (Tom Fissel) have sporadically kept in contact through the years, we hadn't spoken in probably five years. After reading an email he sent to Feese (and subsequently to all of us), about his daughter Kristin being a freshman at the University of Arizona, we corresponded. Well, much to our surprise, John happened to be visiting with Kristin the weekend of El Tour. They were enjoying Tucson somewhere along the course as the 4500 riders continually passed by them. Zimmy now knows what all those cyclists were doing in Tucson on that weekend.
98 classmates from the '69 class of New Oxford High School - one from Vermont - one from North Carolina - winding up in Tucson on the same weekend for totally different reasons, without each others knowledge - a small world indeed.
